Diet – Eating the Right Way
Most women resort to crash diets when they want to trim down and loss weight. It’s a common notion that when women go into diet, they eat less. However, real diet is about eating the right way and not about eating less. With some helpful tips, you can kick off your way to a healthier and more fit you.
When doing your cardio, do it first thing in the morning and preferably on an empty stomach. You can of course bring some water with you. The reason behind this is that you are trying to shed off excess weight. By doing your cardio on an empty stomach your body burns stored energy, thus burning off extra weight. When you do cardio after eating, your body mostly burns the food you just ate.

When eating, stay away from carbs. Food with high content of carbohydrates will slow your weight loss down. Say no to pasta, wheat breads, rice, and the like, when on diet. Next to carbs, are sweets. You need to get rid of all sugary and sweet food. They are like poison to your diet and will only quickly add up to pounds to your weight.
You should also eat smaller meals, but more frequently – around 6 meals a day. This greatly increases your metabolism. Your body will get the feeling that you always have food and therefore burn calories faster. Also, you should avoid eating 3 hours before bedtime as food will not be burned fast. These are just simple tips that you can do right away but they are sure fire tips on your way to losing those stubborn extra weight.
Women’s Unique Physiological Needs
Women’s physiology differs greatly from that of men’s. Thus, a woman’s health needs is also uniquely different. For those women looking to get in shape and tone down, you should not be following exercise routines performed by men. Trimming and toning down is about using the right set of weights and repetitions in every exercise. Men on the other hand, use excessive weights wanting to gain more muscles. The orientation of a woman’s body is different from a man’s so the exercise requirements vary as well. Women have lower center of gravity and their sense of balance is poles apart as well.
For example, women’s exercises must support their bust line. This means that on a woman’s adult life, their strength training on the upper back, shoulders, and biceps will certainly come in handy since the chest region creates a constant gravitational pull on the front of a woman’s body. This holds especially true for those women with well endowed chests.
Pregnancy is one physical event that women must prepare for whereas men on the other hand will not need to worry about this getting in the way of their workout routine. Abdominal and back muscle exercises help a woman get ready and go through pregnancy.
Men and women also age differently as well. This is a common knowledge. Women with the right kind of weight training like toning exercises will greatly benefit from their fitness routines later on in life most especially on their menopausal stage. You can always learn more about the unique needs of women by getting online any time. Knowledge is definitely power.
